Protein and fiber are the most abundant in most HCG Diet Recipes; carbohydrates are as much as possible eliminated. It is mainly to give the dieter a fulfilled feeling after a meal. Basically a very low calorie diet like the 500 calorie diet leaves a dieter a hungry sensation and a deprivation feeling, that’s why some VLC diets fail.
In this case a well rounded meal plan should be established. An exciting yet a very healthy meal that won’t compromise the protocol should be eaten. Here are some healthy recipes.
Spinach, Chicken & Strawberry Salad
2 cups spinach, washed, dried
100 grams chicken (warm or cold)
5‐6 strawberries, sliced
Strawberry vinaigrette (recipe under “Sauces/
1 protein, 1 vegetable, 1 fruit
Beef/Buffalo and Tomatoes
100 grams ground Beef or Buffalo
Oregano to taste (2 T?)
Garlic Salt to Taste (1/2 t)
1 Med-large tomato
Break up the meat in a bowl. Add the spices
and mix. Place in a non-stick fry pan over med
heat. When almost brown, add the tomatoes.
Cook until done.
