When on Phase 3 HCG drops diet plan you can eat anything and slowly introduce foods back into your diet. We do however recommend introducing foods one at a time, and not all at once so that you will be able to easily determine what foods may cause weight gain and stop eating those foods.
It is important to eat at least double the protein you were eating on the VLCD, (100-125 grams of protein) so you won’t be protein deficient
Regulate your eating of: cornstarch, white flour, wheat flour, any flour, pasta, any bread or bread product, breadsticks, bagels, hamburger and hotdog buns, crackers, tortillas, oatmeal, rice, polenta, peas, corn, lentils, pita bread, pretzels, corn chips, potato chips, yams, potatoes, pancakes, muffins, nearly all root vegetables, any breading on fish, chicken, or other protein., beans, grains, acorn squash, butternut squash, cereals, granola, cereal bars, popcorn, biscuits, corn bread, taco shells, croutons, rice cakes, Cream of Wheat, corn meal, and some nuts.
Avoid eating processed foods like processed cheese (i.e. Velveeta), that contain unnecessary sugars and starches. We suggest going with lean protein, fruit and vegetables during the first few days to help acclimate your body back into normal eating. Then, slowly introduce foods like nuts and dairy one at a time, so that if you react negatively it is easy to identify foods to avoid.
