According to ABC news, the latest “secret” to weight loss is simple: lower the temperature!
According to ABC news, researchers have proven that cold can lead directly to a loss of brown fat. Apparently, being cold produces a hormone called irisin, which increases calorie burn.
In similar studies, cold showers have been proven to have great health effects, including:
1. Increases Alertness
2. Refines Hair and Skin
3. Improves Immunity and Circulation
4. Stimulates Weight Loss
5. Speeds Up Muscle Soreness and Recovery
6. Eases Stress
7. Relieves Depression
So, turn down the heat, have a cold shower or bath, and generally try to get your body temperature down, and you will see multiple health benefits! Bring on the shiver!

Im the summer, I will be more than happy to do this. But during winter hcg diet will suffice.

Is this really true? But with hcg diet, if I am not mistaken, I have read about avoiding drinking cold water while doing hcg diet. How about it?

So much mixed information out there right? Well, according to Kevin Trudeau, avoid ice cold drink beacuse it slows down metabolism. You will have to be the best judge when it comes to this. Observe yourself and your body’s reaction to cold water. If you think you are not cheating or doing anything outside the hcg diet, yet, you are not losing weight. Then you might want to consider drinking cold water as the culprit.

The kind of cold that you can handle Pete. In fact after a person works out, it is suggested that he should shower with cold water to lower heart rate to normal. See if it works Pete then let us know ok?

I took me a long time to believe on the hcg diet, but when I finally tried it, it’s like the most amazing this I have discovered in my lifetime (next to couponing). I lost the weight I’ve been trying to lose for the past 5 years of my life. All diets and products out there are yo-yo diets. But not this one. Anyway, what I’m saying is, it took me a long time to believe on hcg diet, and it will perhaps take me longer to believe on cold shower to make me lose weight. But thanks for sharing. lol.

You are welcome TerrySue. Anything to help people to lose weight and be healthy, we will post them here. And yes, hcg diet is so effective, it has outdone other diets out there. If only the rest of the world wont be afraid to try hcg and discover it themselves.

The hardest part is to stay on a low calorie diet for too long. Maybe people are only afraid because it’s too low calories to eat everyday. I, for one, had a hard time at first because I am juggling 2 jobs in a day. I think eating 500 cal. won’t give me the strength I need to last the whole day. When I found out you offer 800 and 1200 calories, I jumped right in and it worked! I lost 10lbs.

Congrats for losing 10 lbs Fay. You see that’s the reason Dr. Robbins created higher calories because he understood what Dr. Simeons did not see, that is, the importance of protein for building muscle in order to burn fats properly. Thanks for sharing and we’re glad you decided to try the higher calorie protocol. Which one did you do by the way? 800 or 1200?
