HCG Diet Menu Tweaks And Cheats
The HCG diet menu founded by Doctor Simeons has worked for hundreds of thousands of people. And while they have all lost a lot of weight, the diet menu itself is somewhat dated. So here are some tweaks and cheats that bring the diet up to date and help you have great success with it!
The breakfast menu called simply for coffee or tea. One tablespoon of milk was allowed, but no sugar. He did allow for a substitute sweetener, saccharin.
But based on modern research, here are some suggestions to improve this breakfast.

The first recommendation I have is to substitute a protein shake for the meat if you wish. Protein shakes are convenient and healthy. The other tips is to break the meal down and eat throughout the day. Modern nutritional science has proven that eating several smaller meals is much healthier than the old three meal a day model. This will help your energy and blood sugar levels, as well as help you feel fuller for longer.
The traditional diet called for dinner to be exactly the same as lunch. As above, breaking the portions up into smaller meals is advised.
As for cheating, let’s face it, a lot of people do get hungry on the HCG diet menu. If this happens, your first line of defense is water! Drink lots! Water will take the edge off your hunger, and provide the hydration your body needs to function and cleanse properly. The next cheat food is apples. If you simply can’t make it through the day on the above HCG diet menu, cheat with apples, as they are filling, delicious, and nutritious.
